About us
Primary Statement: Life Preparatory School (LPS) was established in 2008 with the vision of providing quality education based on the National Curriculum in both English and Bangla versions. The school was co-founded by Mr. Atehar Ali Sir, whose dedication and guidance played a significant role in laying the foundation of the institution.
The necessity for a standard junior educational institution offering the National Curriculum for the children of Uttara and its surrounding areas was deeply felt. To fulfill this need, LIFE PREPARATORY SCHOOL (LPS) came into being with a commitment to academic excellence and moral development.
Under the strict supervision and efficient management of the Board of Trustees, LPS has remained dedicated to nurturing disciplined, knowledgeable, and progressive students by imparting quality education in a caring and supportive environment.
The reason behind choosing such a name:
To select a name, different names along with so-called INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS appear before us. But we think when we are going to prepare life, we should not be typical but universal, we should prepare such a student who will be a complete all-rounder in a truer sense. For this, we named our school LIFE PREPARTORY SCHOOL and our slogan is WE PREPARE LIVES.
আমাদের স্কুলের নাম দিতে গিয়ে তথাকথিত INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL গুলোর নামসহ আরো অনেক নাম আমাদের সামনে আসলেও আমরা ভাবলাম যেকোন একটি নাম আমাদেরকে সেই গতানুগতিক পথেই ঠেলে দিতে পারে। তাই আমরা সার্বজনীন লক্ষ্য নিয়ে গতানুগতিক হওয়া যাবেনা বলেই এই নাম ঠিক করি LIFE PREPARTORY SCHOOL (LPS) এবং আমাদের শ্লোগান হলো WE PREPARE LIVES। যদিও নাম সুশিক্ষা নিশ্চিত করবেনা তবু লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্যের সাথে সাথে নামের গুরুত্ব রয়েই যায়। কারণ আমাদের রয়েছে জীবন গড়ার প্রত্যয়, পরখ করার ভার আপনাদের।
AIMS / OBJECTIVES
- To impart and uphold the standard of education reflecting the aspirations and needs of our children.
- To promote and inspire physical, mental, cultural, and ethical development among the children and also to grow self-confidence, devotion to work, and respect for others.
- To follow the national curriculum of education prescribed by the Textbook Board at all levels in English and Bangla versions.
- To sum up, our final aim is to build your child completely and make them an all-rounder.
Rules for Admission
Rules for Admission Parents willing to get their children admitted into LPS are advised/requested to fill in the application form and submit it to the school office in advance. Applicants for playgroup and nursery are not required to appear at any written test, but the selection board has the right to select and reject after observing the child’s attitude and behavior. Entries to all other classes are done strictly on a merit basis. The applicants are required to appear at the written test on English, Bangla, mathematics, and general knowledge.
